*~^**6 WEEKS**^~*

So, this week little Spawner's neural tube will be closed (hopefully!) and his/her little nose, mouth and ears are starting to take shape! Little arm and leg buds are forming and his/her heart is now beating about 100 to 160 times a minute! :)

How far along: 6 weeks!!

Size of baby: a sweetpea

Total weight gain: 0

Sleep:  I've been sleeping so great and sleeping as much as I can!

Best moment(s) of the past week: Hmm...I'd say seeing my puppy recover from her dental surgery was pretty nice. The poor pup had a hard time coming out of anesthetic so it was nice to see her back to normal!

Symptoms: Nothing new. Thankfully that horrible rash/hives-thing I had last time didn't start (yet). Last time it started at 5 weeks 3 days, so I'm passed that point now. Here's hoping it never comes!! I have also been having quite a bit of gas cramps and bloating after eating. It can be sooo painful. :(

Food aversions: Nothing. I love all foods equally.

Cravings:  Nothing really. Lately though, I've been loving saucy and salty foods, but that's not really anything new.

Maternity clothes: Noooo.

Movement: No.

Boy or girl:  No idea! ;)

Wedding rings on or off:  On

What do you miss: Coffee, although I'm starting to get over the addiction (yeah, I never thought it would happen either). I do still miss going to Starbucks and getting my iced coffee though.

What are you looking forward to: Our first ultrasound on April 4th!!!

Emotions: Happy. I am so happy to be pregnant. I just wish I could be TOTALLY happy and excited. I'm super worried about another miscarriage, and it's hard to push those worries aside right now. I think it won't be until I pass that loss milestone at 8 weeks, or until we see our baby with it's little heart beating away, that I will allow myself to be completely happy and excited.

Next appt: April 2 is my first midwife appointment.

Plans for the week: This week...not too much. Dave's been gone for work, so it will be nice to see him this weekend, and hopefully we can celebrate my mom's and Rob's birthday.
