How far along are you: 19 weeks! Every week I get more and more amazed that I'm this far along!!
Size of baby: a mango!
Movement: I *think* THINK I'm feeling things. A little tap here and there. Not sure if it's a muscle spasm or gas bubble or baby. It seems to happen if I'm sitting upright, after I've eaten or if I drink a cold drink (read: coffee frapps from Starbucks). I hope this is baby's way of telling me he/she likes coffee frapps as much as mommy does!
Symptoms: okay so, I'm on vacation and we've been out and about quite a bit. So I'd assume being tired is normal, but after a day of being out I am EXHAUSTED! It feels like first trimester sleepiness again. And of course, the sleepiness makes me feel a little nauseous and the hiking makes me hungry and if I'm hungry I get a little nauseous... So, hello again first tri symptoms!
Total weight gain: haven't weighed myself this week but I'd predict at least a one or two pound gain. At least, I hope. I read I should have gained about 12-15 lbs by now and I def think I haven't gained that. In a way I'm happy, but I want to gain what I need for a healthy babe.
Sleep: sleep is the same. Not great, not terrible.
Food aversions: Nothing really.
Cravings: I wanted French onion soup so bad, and in the Rockies thankfully there are plenty of options for that. I got my fix today!
Emotions: happy!
What do you miss: Eating whatever I want. I realized how hard it is to be on vacation but not eat food with raw meat, undercooked steak, soft cheeses or foods made with liquor. And of course, just because I can't have it, I want it.
Maternity clothes: Yes!
Wedding rings on or off: On.
Boy or girl: we will know Monday!!
Next appt: Monday! So excited and nervous. It's a HUGE scan in the grand scheme of ultrasounds. Not only because we will find out Spawner's sex but because it's a complete baby health check. Wish us luck!
Best moment(s) this past week: our vacation!! We've had an amazing time and thankfully we've still got a half a week to go!
What are you looking forward to this week: the rest of this vacation and then finding out of I'm having a boy or girl!!!! :D
